Library staff will help entertain guests at a night of puzzle-solving and murder mystery detection at Neston Library on Thursday 21 June.

Bestselling thriller writer Kate Ellis will be joined by four rather dodgy Italian suspects, more normally seen as library staff, for “Murder in the Lemon Grove” from 7pm.

On the night a mysterious plot will develop when Sicilian businessman Paolo Brusconi is found murdered in a lemon grove adjoining an archaeological site.

The Council’s Cabinet Member Communities and Wellbeing, Councillor Louise Gittins said: “It promises to be a very exciting evening and I’m delighted our Library staff are getting involved and joining the fun. This is another example of the quality and diversity of our libraries. They are at the heart of our communities providing wonderful cultural activities for everyone to enjoy.”

Tickets are available for £5 at the library or online via Ticketsource. There will be refreshments, as well as Kate’s books for sale on the evening.
